History
After 1924, refugees from Aegean Macedonia settled in Ravda. They were mainly from Kufalovo and Bozec, while a few families were from Kirkalovo, Zorbatovo, Barovitsa, Ramel, Plasnichovo, Kadinovo, and Vekhti Pazar.
After the democratic changes, Ravda became a popular tourist destination. The village has a well-developed infrastructure with many newly built hotels and a good beachfront.

Georgraphy
Ravda is located 3 km from Aheloy, 4 km from the municipal center of Nessebar, 7 km from Sunny Beach, 25 km from Burgas Airport and 30 km from the regional center of Burgas.
Transport
Regular bus transport provides connections between Ravda and Burgas, Nessebar, and Sunny Beach. Shuttle taxis, minibuses, and taxis follow the same route. Private water transport to Burgas and Nessebar can be arranged with boatmen.
Things To See
Ravda, together with the area that separates it from the town of Nessebar, is a summer seaside resort, known in the past for its numerous children's, school, and student summer camps.
